GEOGRAPHY: Oval in shape, approximately 22sq km, 10km x 7km. Fire decimated most of the pine forests but still pretty with some regrowth, lots of unmade roads leading to little stony coves.
GENERAL IMPRESSIONS: Attractive island, green, used to be favourite with tour operators but recently tourism has dropped. Very popular with Athenian weekenders.
