Blogging: Help - How do I get started
Let us know that you want a Blog and for which island by contacting Kelsey our Administrator. She will set you up with your own category so you can add to it, for example "Joanna's Blog".
Next you need to sign-up as a member. You can use a pen name if you want but you must include your real name in the sign up information requested along with all the business information that is applicable for you.
Then you can enter a FREE Business Card Entry with the contact details that people can contact you on. If you don't want to publish your phone numbers you can enter "Email enquiries only" in the telephone number field during entry. This will appear at the top of your blog category page.
Next we will need an introduction for you with a photo of your head and shoulders. This is a short paragraph about who you are and what sort of content you envisage adding to your blog so visitors understand where you're coming from and what to expect from your blog.
From then on you just add stories as regularly as you decide suits you.
