Membership: Help - Do I have to use my own name
It depends on what type of activity you want to carry out on our site.
Ordinary Members - No you do not have to use your own name as your username if you want to be anonymous. You will have to enter your real name though when you sign up. Your username can be your own first name or a pseudonym (pen name). You will be able to add comments to articles, publish an article, send an image, join the forum, etc., and you will receive our newsletter, but your real name will be withheld and you will be anonymous to everyone except our Administrator.
If you are a blogger - your real name must be used.
If you are an advertiser or submitting a reciprocal link you are required to use the name of your business as your username. The person responsible for submitting the advert or link must appear in the sign-up members information.
Volunteer reporters may use a pseudonym for their username but again their real name must be given in the members sign-up form.
All other users, advertising sales agents and volunteer contributing editors must use their real name to sign up as members.
